And, since we've had some nice sunshine the last few days, 

we've enjoyed being outside, too.

A smoked turkey

For Thanksgiving this year, we invited some friends over and decided to try smoking a turkey on the grill. J's aunt M gave me some great step-by-step instructions on how to do it. It was so easy! My 16 lb turkey only took about 3 1/2 hours to cook, and it tasted delicious! I liked that my oven wasn't on all day, and I didn't have any big roasting pan to clean afterwards. Plus, my neighbors all enjoyed the smell as it was cooking, too. Thanks, M! Here's what the turkey looked like just before we took it off the grill:

Catching Up - part 1

We recently celebrated a friend's birthday at Chuck E Cheese. This was my first time going, and SIG's as well. Here is one of the many little rides he enjoyed! 

A new kind of pizza

I wanted to make pizza the other night, but as I pulled out my flour canister, I discovered I didn't have the 3 cups I needed to make my regular dough. So, I scrambled to find a recipe with what I had on hand, and came up with this one. It's super easy, and tastes great!

Ultrasound news

Well, today I had my third ultrasound in the last 6 weeks. Our little baby is healthy and happy, from the looks of it....and...she's a girl!
