One of the best parts of the trip was eating some really yummy food. Here we are at a restaurant called De Dutch Pannekoek House. Their specialty is a 12" pancake (much like a crepe) that could be ordered any way you wanted. Here is J's, with 7 kinds of meat cooked into the pannekoek! He was a happy camper, to say the least.
We visited many parks...this one was one of the biggest. SIG enjoyed the playground, and we all liked the scenic walkways, flowers, and ponds.
We spent an afternoon at Galey Farms, where SIG liked the petting zoo, we bought some fresh corn and berries, and we enjoyed a scenic train ride around the farm.
who started this little game - father or son?...I'll never tell! :)
We saw a lot of wildlife on the train ride around the farm...
the final word...
Aahhh! This was our favorite coffee shop, just a few minutes walk from our hotel. They specialize in yummy coffee and tea, and their sweets are delicious! One day I enjoyed some free time and sat in their lounge with a whole pot of tea to myself!
